How It Starts

Good nutrition marks the beginning of wellness, yet it's only a fragment of the entire narrative. Wellness encompasses far more than just food. It involves a harmonious relationship among the body, mind, and spirit. To achieve this, we must examine each component individually.

Mind

Your mind is akin to a supercomputer, and it guides our actions and decisions in life. A balanced mind, free from constant worry and capable of focus, is essential for overall well-being and peace. Healthy habits, supportive social environments, and the ability to let go of thoughts contribute to this mental harmony.

Body

Body wellness hinges on mindful nutrition and regular physical activities like exercise, yoga, and dancing. Recognizing food as medicine and not as a daily poison is vital in our journey towards well-being. By nurturing our bodies with care, food becomes a source of joy, not anxiety or disease.

Spirit

The word "spirit" embodies a sense of internal peace and love, fostered by gratitude, compassion, and self-acceptance. It's where we connect with our higher selves and the essence of our souls, embracing a state of surrender and self-awareness. This spiritual journey is unique for each individual, often involving healing from trauma and overcoming negative emotions.

About Me

My name is Julius Nikk Crisan, and I'm a culinary arts graduate from Johnson & Wales University since 2003 and have worked in the food industry in Miami and NY. In 2012, I shifted focus to Nutrition & Food Science, pursuing a degree in Denver.

Post-graduation, I served as a Nutrition Consultant at Colorado University, formulating meals for sports teams. Later, I joined the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies, where I honed my skills in personalized nutrition coaching, tailoring dietary strategies to each athlete's unique needs.
